DOH! Note:
During discussions after the talk, someone mentioned the topic of Virtual and Augmented Reality, which had completely slipped my mind while creating this presentation. If I'd thought of it, I'd definitely have included it in my list of relevant technologies. I think this is a significant near-term development that should be considered, and intend to talk about it at some future point, perhaps as a feature on the website.
This just serves to emphasise why I need a memory upgrade!
